A visionary leader and Financial Architect , Emmanuel Okpanachi embodies the fusion of strategic entrepreneurial excellence, and a relentless drive for innovation.

With an illustrious career spanning Retail, Commercial Banking and Investment Banking , Financial Consulting and Development Financing , he has solidified his reputation as a dynamic force in the DFI ecosystem.

Mr Okpanachi Emmanuel Adamu was born to the family of Air Cdre (RTD) and Chief Mrs Okpanachi. He hails from Ankpa Local Government Area in Kogi State. He attended Anglo American School Moscow, Russia from 1981-1986 were he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. He then attended Command Secondary School Kaduna from 1986 -1992 and obtained his SSCE and then proceeded to the University of Jos from 1992-1997 were he obtained his first degree in Geography with a Second Class Lower degree.

He started his Banking career with Citizens International Bank, Kaduna were he worked from 1999-2003 as a relationship officer under the Retail Banking Group. His hunger and quest for knowledge saw him move to Broad Bank, Kaduna as a Senior Banking Officer were he started a new branch and worked from 2003-2005.

From 2005-2007, he worked with the prestigious Guaranty Trust Bank as a Team Lead, overseeing the Commercial Banking Business of the Branch. Oceanic Bank, who were hungry in search of dynamic business drivers approached him and offered him employment and he worked there from 2007 to 2013 as an Assistant Manager as Head of Credit and Marketing.

Further quest for managerial experience made him move to Union Bank and there he worked from 2013-2018 as a Deputy Manager supervising the Retail and Commercial Banking Business. He had a brief stint with Micro Vis MFB from 2019-2020 were he was the General Manager / Group Head of Risk Mgt before moving over in 2020 to Dignity Finance and Investment Ltd as an Assistant General Manager overseeing the company’s Enterprise Wide Risk Management as the Group Head of Risk Management, a position he held until 6th of January 2025.

His valued contribution to the growth of Dignity Finance and Investment Ltd saw to his appointment as the Managing Director/CEO effective 6th January 2025, a position he holds to date.

He also obtained an MPhil, MBA, Masters in Banking and Finance , MIAD and currently a fellow with the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals. He has attended several courses over this 25 years work life that has shaped him to become a transformational leader.
