Biography

Margaret Nnamdi-Emeana joined Dignity Finance and Investment Limited as the Group Head, Business Development. She is a quintessential banking and financial services professional with over 22 years’ relevant cross-functional industry experience in the areas of Operations, Internal Control and Compliance, Risk management, Credit and Lending, Trade Finance, Business Development and Financial Advisory Services.

She commenced her career in 1998 with the erstwhile Diamond Bank where she served in various roles as head of Customer Service and that of Internal Control. She pioneered branch management at several locations at different times. She rose from branch manager to the position of Area Manager.

Following the successful mergers and acquisitions between Access Bank and Diamond Bank, she held the position of Regional Sales Manager in Access Bank in Abuja.

Prior to joining DFIL, she served at Folio Group as Group Head Shared Services, where she was responsible for the group-wide coordination of the support ecosystem which included Human Resource, Finance, IT and Operations.

She had a brief stint at Danimac Company Limited as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the board committee on Investment, establishing standards and ensuring that the organization has robust controls in place to manage investment-related risks.

Margaret is a lawn tennis player and a golfer. She is happily married with children.

Education

Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Resource Management from Cardiff University in Wales; Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Applied Arts from Abia State University in Uturu, Abia State; Professional development program from the University of Cambridge in England
