Biography

Engr. Ahmed Ibrahim is the Chairman, Board of Directors of Dignity Finance & Investment Ltd. He is an experienced Engineer and Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working and generating break-through growth across multiple industries.

Presently, he is the Managing Director of Alpha-Praxis (Nigeria) Ltd., an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) company. Engr. Ibrahim is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he bagged Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Chemical Engineering and Masters of Business Administration with Finance major.

He has over thirty-two years’ experience in Engineering, Banking, Finance, construction, manufacturing and international trade, dedicating his time and expertise in building successful business ventures.

Between 2005 and 2006, he served as Managing Director of Bank of the North Ltd, as nominee of NDIC, wherein he led the merger of the bank with eight others to form Unity Bank Plc-thus setting a world record in the number of banks merged at the same time.

Previously, he led Drake & Scull (Nigeria) Ltd. and NNIL Commercial Company Ltd; two subsidiaries of the northern Nigeria conglomerate, NNDC Ltd., for over ten years, where he recorded break-through growth in both organisations.

He sat on the Boards of AshakaCem Plc and Bank of the North Ltd and Unity Bank Plc for a combined period of over twenty years. Currently, he sits on the Boards of several companies as a non-Executive Director.

Engr. Ibrahim is a team player and passionate about building businesses that positively impact the Society.
